Corrections Policy

Eandj Design Studio is committed to providing accurate and reliable information to our readers. We understand the importance of truth in reporting, especially when discussing trends, architectural studies, and design innovations. Maintaining the highest standards of journalistic integrity is fundamental to our mission.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

We strive for precision in all articles, from detailed examinations of high-gloss lacquer to architectural case studies of luxury showrooms. Our editorial team fact-checks content before publication. When errors occur despite our best efforts, we correct them promptly and transparently.

Types of Corrections

We categorize corrections based on their nature and impact on the reader’s understanding. Different types of errors require varying levels of public notation.

Minor Fixes

Minor fixes include typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, punctuation errors, or slight rephrasing for clarity. These changes do not alter the substance or meaning of the content. We typically correct these without a formal editor’s note.

Significant Corrections

Significant corrections involve factual errors that materially affect the understanding of an article. This includes incorrect names, dates, locations, product specifications, or misattributions. Such errors require a clear, public correction notice.

Retractions

A retraction occurs when an article contains fundamental errors making it unreliable or if it violates our ethical standards. We remove the article or replace it with a full explanation for the retraction. Such decisions are made after a thorough internal review.

How Corrections Are Noted

For significant corrections, we add a clear editor’s note at the top or bottom of the affected article. This note specifies what information was changed and the date of the correction. This ensures full disclosure to our readers.

In the rare event of a retraction, the original article URL will lead to a page explaining the reason for the retraction. This practice upholds our commitment to transparency and accountability in design press.

Reporting an Error

We encourage our readers to help us maintain accuracy. If you find an error in any of our articles, please report it to us. Provide the URL of the article, a clear description of the error, and the correct information, if known.

Please send all error reports to our editorial team at [email protected].

Review Timeline

Our editorial team acknowledges receipt of error reports within two business days. We then investigate the reported error promptly. If a correction is warranted, we implement it and update the article within five business days of confirmation.

Transparency of Correction History

Eandj Design Studio keeps an internal record of all significant corrections and retractions. This practice supports our ongoing efforts to improve content quality and editorial processes. We believe in being open about our corrections.
